carboxy therapy is a treatment based on the use in therapeutic purpose of the carbon dioxide that is fed to the gaseous state through micro-injections, subcutaneous.

Carboxy therapy is indicated for the treatment of cellulite thanks to its action on the microcirculation, in the treatment of the tissue relaxation thanks to its anti-retraction (lifting), in the elimination of the accumulation of fat due to its lipolytic action.

The areas most affected are the thighs, inner knees, buttocks, belly and neck.

Prof. Francesco D'Andrea

Prof. Francesco D'Andrea graduated with honors in 1982, and obtained the title of specialist in Plastic Surgery in 1987. The same year he won the research competition at the University of Reggio Calabria and in 1989 with this qualification was transferred to the "La Sapienza" University of Rome. In 1991 he won the competition for associate professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Reggio Calabria. With this qualification he moved to the Second University of Naples. Since 2001 he has been full professor and director of the specialization school of Plastic Surgery at the Second University of Naples, and coordinator of a research doctorate. He has been a winner of national awards and grants. He was responsible for MURST research projects (1992-1993-1994-1995-1996-1997) and for university research projects (2001-2002). He is the national coordinator of a PRIN for the year 2004-6. He has spent several stays abroad (England, USA, Spain, Sweden, Finland), some of which are long-term, and is licensed to practice in England. He has organized and participated in the organization of national and international congresses of the specialty. He is secretary of the Italian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, and a member of the International Society of Plastic Surgery and of numerous similar national and international scientific societies, holding in some of these official positions. He is president of the Campana Academy of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. He is the author of over 120 publications in national and international journals, many indexed and with impact factor
